This series of posters for Soulpepper Theatre received a Bronze Cube from The Art Director's Club.  The award means a lot to me because so many people I admire have received them—Saul Bass, Milton Glaser, Michael Bierut, Paula Scher.  Nowadays, most of the awards given are for design, t.v. commercials and web "experiences", so it was neat for illustration to get a nod.  Tonight there's a party at The Art Director's Club for past Cube winners where I hope to extoll the almighty power of illustration.  Roar.
